Chief amongst those are the 26-16 Sacramento Kings, who come in at +800 to land Kuzma on the trade market as they look to defend as Pacific Division champs in 2024.
Other potential landing spots for the 28-year-old veteran are the 25-21 Dallas Mavericks (+1000), the 19-24 Golden State Warriors (+1200), the Utah Jazz (+1500) and the Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies, who are listed at +1750 apiece in the Kuzma sweepstakes.
There’s also a chance that Kuzma winds up with another NBA team or stays in Washington past the league’s trade deadline, with -125 odds that Kuzma achieves either feat after the early February trade deadline.
One thing that seems certain is that Kuzma’s three-year run with the Wizards is likely to be coming to an end sooner rather than later, with Washington looking to reset their roster under whichever head coach replaces Unseld in 2024 and beyond.
