Foes Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin Favorites in Fall Martinsville NASCAR Race

Few drivers have found the success Kyle Larson has in 2024. However, due to the playoff system, much of Larson’s in-season success is void. That doesn’t mean the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Champion’s Martinsville odds for the fall race should fall short.

Larson, along with Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin, have the shortest odds set at +450. Both drivers are on the outside looking in, -7 and -18 points, respectively, behind the cut line. Neither driver is in a must-win situation to get to Phoenix but both have shown the ability to win at Martinsville.

Penske Teammates Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano Strong Martinsville Odds

With the success we’ve seen from Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing, we’ve seen similar success at Martinsville from Team Penske teammates Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano. Blaney, the defending race winner and series champion, has the third-shortest odds at +500 and finds himself in a must-win situation to advance. Logano, who has a series-leading 5.3 average finish at Martinsville over the last seven races at the track, has odds of +1300 but has already locked himself into the Championship 4. That means Logano isn't in a position to push the envelope Sunday afternoon.
