Caeleb Dressel Swimming 2024 Olympics Odds

Fact Checked by Jim Tomlin

One of the most decorated male athletes in contemporary Olympic history will take to the pool in Paris this summer. Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Caeleb Dressel takes on the world at the 2024 Paris Games after securing five medals in Tokyo three years ago.

BetVirginia.com, as part of our Virginia sports betting coverage, broke down the odds on Dresselā€™s two individual Olympic races this summer. The American ranks near the top in both as the 2024 Summer Games approach.

The Florida native won gold in three individual races at the last Summer Games, winning the 50- and 100-meter freestyle and the 100-meter butterfly. He also took home two team golds in the 4x100-meter freestyle and medley races, giving him consecutive golds in both events (repeating Team USAā€™s feat from the 2016 Rio Games).

Swiss athlete Noe Ponti and Australian star Matthew Temple are at +400 apiece, while Frenchman Maxime Grousset is the next closest at +450, showing how tight of a race this is expected to be.
